Alex dos Santos Araújo (Santoz) é Um Cantor, compositor e beatmaker, nascido no Rio de Janeiro e criado no bairro da Pavuna subúrbio da zona norte. O artista possui Influências que vão desde o samba de raiz até a musica negra norte americana. Ex-Integrante do extinto grupo de rap Posse Reagir que era formado por Jovem Cerebral e Vinicius Terra. o cantor possui diversas contribuições junto a artistas do rap nacional, dentre essas, estão participações nas musicas Império do Rapper (Bob X) parte Integrante da Mixtape Lançada dia 13/05/2015 intitulada IMPÉRIO BXD, o Voo da Coruja (Dino T-Rex).

Santoz - EP / VOL. 1, 2 e 3 foi lançado no ano de 2015 e passeia por diversos estilos da musica negra, como R&B, Funk, Soul e suas ramificações, sem deixar de lado a influência da musica brasileira. O mesmo conta com parcerias e colaborações de alguns compositores, entre estes estão: Juh de Paula, Patricia Costa, Fernanda Andrade, Thauan el pavuna, Glaucia Amorim e Bob X. A Produção do disco é assinada pelo Próprio, bem Como boa parte das composições do EP.

No ano de 2016 o artista lançou o trabalho intitulado Santoz Studio Session Vol. 1, o mesmo conta com direção de Léo Almeida, e é o registro ao vivo da performance em estúdio do cantor acompanhado por sua banda. Neste projeto o artista executa algumas músicas que fazem parte do seu EP, e também a releitura da música Zé do caroço da saudosa Leci Brandão.

In the year 2016 the artist released the work titled Santoz Studio Session Vol. 1, the same with direction of Léo Almeida, and is the live record of the studio performance of the singer accompanied by his band. In this project the artist performs some songs that are part of his EP, as well as the re-reading of the song Zé do caroço by the late Leci Brandão.
